Mobile Application with back end system for displaying selective content

Sample use shown allows users to view a new picture every day, make meme style captions and vote their opinion of the best caption. Other uses would be to supply a coupon to the user for redemption at client store sites. This mobile application is facilitated by customizable back end server software coupled with administration dash boards.   The mobile application also allows for users to send the picture, coupon, or advertisement, with back links, to the user's social networking profiles.

Piczis, currently in beta, is an example of a complete system we developed. Comprising of a server stack, mobile applications and front end web application, Piczis is the fastest way to offer items you wish to give away for free to your local community. Piczis allows users to utilize the Piczis mobile application to quickly take a picture and list an item in three easy steps. The item can be something you wish to give away for free, think Free+Recycle=Freecycle, or it can be an item you wish to sell. The mobile applications user interface allows for quickly taking a picture of the item and listing it within seconds. Farmer's Market Locations Mobile Application

This application utilizes several technologies to bring together markets and vendors with clients seeking their products and services. This mobile application was developed in conjunction with a call for applications utilizing public sector data. Its currently available version shows available Farmers' Markets in the Metropolitan Chicago region. It has the ability to show the markets in a map, provided by google maps, and details about that market. A future version currently in beta testing includes the market vendors and the ability for the vendors to distribute and control coupons, discounts and specific advertisement, through universally unique identifiers embedded within QR Code images. This mobile application came together over a period of several weeks based on an idea to expand the concept into a larger online world. Currently in development is the follow up to this project that allows users to interact in a terrarium environment and make in app purchases to acquire extra game components. This mobile application, programmed in C, was a proof of concept Android mini game app designed around a physics library developed for our mini games. The mobile app includes a Chinese language version, with Hanjin characters, that was submitted to several China based mobile app stores. Ploonk was created to take advantage of our ability to transform existing project templates into fast proof of concept prototypes. A simplistic mini game at its most basic level, Ploonk utilizes custom routines to generate graphics procedurally within the application. Fluidity was developed for inclusion into a live screen saver for the Android mobile platform. Consisting of a proof of concept particle physics engine, based off of several papers on fluid dynamics, Fluidity was written in C as a baseline for future projects and mini games that would need a particle engine library.

This mobile application is a sample of quick idea to usable solution our development methodologies can achieve. This game was developed for the Android OS over a period of two days. Race the enemy ships to the finish line without hitting mines. Shoot the enemy before they can cross the finish line. Submit your top score to the leader board and see if you have what it takes. Fast action and in-game music and sound effects make this a classic arcade game.
